Icons do not have to be of the same character/artist/whatever.

PROCESS:

Post a comment below with the form filled out and your images. Currently, I am not capable of producing large amounts of icons in batches like many others. I do not have an icon limit for commissions, but the process is similar to my color commissions. I am specifically focusing on redraw/editing icons (think: color manga that needs speech bubbles removed because can't get a good icon without it.), retouching photos, taking out entire backgrounds, terrible lighting issues in some screenshots that you love, and specific color enhancements (not the entire icon, but, for example, you want all the eyes brighter/deep color than they currently are from the rest of the image.) Depending on the complexity of the edits, I'll give you a quote and a time estimate. I will take general icon requests, too, if you really insist, but it's going to be the flat base of $0.25 per icon. I spent a lot of time on my icons (like at least 10 minutes an icon), so it's just not really time efficient for me at this time until I learn how to not spend way too much time.

If for any reason I can't fulfill your request, I will let you know and try to redirect you to an icon maker I know of that may be better suited for the images you are looking for.

Icons I will do: Video games, anime, manga (B&W/Monocolor), official artwork, fanart, doujinshi, animals, nature, etc. I will do 18+ icons.

Live Action Icons: I haven't played a live-action character since I started doing my own icons, so I'm technically unsure if I can currently fill any of these requests. I'll accept a few and see if I can come up with something. If I find I can't do what people are happy with, I'll take LA Icons off the icons I will do. Thanks for being patient with me!

additional services

payment. payment is due only once we have agreed on the icon style/edits are to your satisfaction. I accept paypal and DW Points, but I charge more DW points than what I charge in US dollars.

time. Depending on how many icons are, it may be a few days, but shouldn't be more than two weeks. If for some reason it will take longer, I will notify you immediately.

multiple orders. You can request multiple orders (eg. if you also want some color commissions, you can just go to the color commissions page and put in an order while also putting one in here.)

# of icons ~depending, the zip folder has about 50 icons, though some of what i chose may NOT look good as an icon. i'd appreciate as from a maker's stance if it doesn't look good as an icon to you to not make it, no worries!

what are you looking for? just nice crops (multiple crops are also good if you find you like more than one crop for an image, will pay), general color retouches/brightening since these are fanart/published original art and don't want the icons to look too dull! a few pics in here are a tad NSFW, nothing super explicit (shows backside, cleavage), i labeled them as NSFW with the file name.

specific edits, background removal, taking characters out of image etc. there are a few images that have a black background because it's official art from a tattoo artist - i'd appreciate if you're able to IF it would look better to you to give them different backgrounds since the colors of the art are kind of wild and neon. but if it looks better black (and is even able to iconned, since idk) then cool to leave it that way! there are also 2 icons with cats that i'd like to just have the picture of them as the icon without the words, i also wrote that in the file name.

Oh, yes of course, feel free! I forgot I made it a personal journal way back when and not a comm, actually, lol— but it is eventually meant to just be for icons/coding/etc! I just keep getting sidetracked to finish it up hehe.

Okay, so I looked at all your pictures. There are a couple I'm not sure how they will look as icons but unless it looks really obvious that they're not good I will make them but let you decide if you want them or not (so no charge if you don't.) I'll be able to tell pretty fast, too. I can absolutely put in different backgrounds where necessary, but icon cropping might not require much at all so I don't even know if you need to really pay extra for that.

I will start working on these as soon as I finish a commission layout I have to wrap up. I will send you some samples and then you can tell me if you want to go ahead with the rest/want me to do stuff different etc.! Can you give me about 48 hours or so? C:

yeah the pictures look great as is, but wasn't sure if they'd all be usable - thank you for your input! ik some people like to charge or not charge when they add extra icons because they cropped one image multiple times so i don't mind to do either! as i said, we can work out the price when you're done ^____^

Hi again! I don't charge extra for multiple crops unless you ask personally or it's in a completely different style (and I usually just do those free too unless someone is asking for more than like 5 or the exception below*.) If I provide different crops, they're always free because it was my choice to give them to you, so no worries about extra charge unless you specifically ask.

*If you ask for more crops of icons I completed, some are specifically edited just for that crop. In this case I would charge extra since I need to do the work again, I'm sorry about it ;O; Sometimes I can crop it differently without resizing, but it's a crap shoot.

So, I am not completely done your sample set, because I spent time with the cat icons, one of the tattoo icons with the black background, and the Mandalorian art and I want to review them with you to make sure I'm going in the right direction. Added the other samples! No rush to reply, either.

so i cleaned up the image and reinked it via channels, but of course it is a very simple cute kitty.
Did you want anything more done or do you not like how the image turned out? I was worried it would look scratchy and noisy because of the sharp lines when shrunk, but the reinking seemed to clear any of that up pretty well.
All these crops are free. I can do a few more for free too if you want more variety, although I admit it's hard to get his cute face and his ears in so he doesn't look like a strange ... face. unless you want his cat butt.

Nothing to really note/ask about this one, just part of your sample.

Mandalorian.

I tend to not like making hard black and whites out of images of these because you lose the detailing, but if you want it higher contrast, just let me know! I also don't like whiter backgrounds for stuff like this because it can pull the eye from the lighter parts of the overall image, but I can do that as well.
I noticed there was a set of colors in the otherwise black and white image. I did my best to convey and accentuate these in the image shrinking, but I'm not sure how successful.
The first one isn't done the same way I did 2,3,4, or 5. If you like the look of the others better than 1, I can do the same to that one if you like the crop, but specify in which style {4 or 5}.
4 & 5 are the same crop, but 5 has added detailing in an attempt to bring out the color a little more. Not sure if I was successful or if you even like it. If you want all of them done like 5, I won't charge extra unless you want any more crops, but any further crops would be since I have to actually paint and do things to make it look like that (tfw when your effort doesn't really reflect the outcome at all weehh
Can you see the difference between 4 and 5 :( I'm still getting used to my new monitor...s and i'm having a hard time judging when colors are bright and saturated enough and when they...aren't. Let me know, because I can definitely lighten it up if the effect is practically invisible.
If you don't like any of these and just want something more sleek black and white contrast while getting as much detail as possible and don't care about the colors, I'm happy to redo all these for free in that style if you like the crops because it's a very simple edit.
Adjusting any of these icons is free. As in, they don't count towards my "i'll only redo x many for free".

So, because this is a tattoo, it's designed to be very standalone which is great for us. It seems like the backgrounds can only add and don't really subtract.
Okay! So I removed the black background and tried three different ones. AND...I'm not sure if you can really tell the different because them because of the crops and also because most of the focus is on the girl and her very innocent lollipop. I do have some neon lights (like laser show style) backgrounds—One is used in 1, but it's obviously not much to see due to cropping. 2 is just a sleek purple, but I'm not sure it does much more than the full black did. I did try a dark orange but it wasn't complementing the blues enough for me to be sold on it so I scrapped it, but if it appeals to you I can how you.
I now have this file as a transparent, so I can try a variety of backgrounds, including any you may want to look for yourself. Anything beyond what I've already did aside from basic colors that I have to personally search for would be extra, but if you give them to me I am happy to crop and show for free. The editing was done preimage, so there's only one fee for as many crops as you want (...within reason, please c: )
I don't know if you like the crop of 3 (I'm a little meh on it,) but the point of it was for me to be able to show you what a shade of very light gray that is almost white looks like, but still pops color.
This is honestly artistically very gorgeously done (what a fantastic tattoo it makes even if I cringe at the thought of the pain), but a little tricky to catch all the colors in an icon, but i think any of these backgrounds (or full back) can do it, it just depends what you want to emphasize in the icon (for example: the stringy mucus is neon pink but can be accentuated even with the lighter background at a different crop. Would you like more crops in any of the backgrounds?

All righty, sorry that was a lot maybe but I'm very particular about my icons and what you're paying for and you get what you really like. I know there's a different between a great icon and a fantastic icon that you just really love, and I'm aiming to get as close tot hat for you with as many as we can. I hope it's not too much hassle to review this aahh.

Here are the rest of the samples. I believe I've covered mostly every kind of image you gave me so you have a general idea of what the others would look like! Of course, if you change your mind and don't want to commission me, you are welcome to take all the icons here for free of charge.

If you do like them, hurray! If you have any edits or concerns (too sharp/too dull/too much color etc/don't like colors/etc.) mention in your reply. I gave you 3 of the exact same crop for Chinchilla Racing-chan because I liked her better with whites for eyes, but I gave you the in between one and then the eyes as original done by the artist. Nothing else about them is different.

Also let me know if any look like there's eraser marks or streaks of weird colors that aren't in the lines. Sometimes screen colors make me miss when I'm erasing and combining layers eek.

mandalorian: i do like 1's coloring the best, yes to apply on the rest. and yes, i can tell the difference between 4 and 5 but it's pretty subtle, lol!

tattoo: 2 actually looks best to me as well as for me, the best crop! it almost doesn't look purple to me but at the same time i can tell the difference in contrast because of the colors of the tattoo. so i think no more crops/backgrounds needed as i really like 2's and think that's perfect!

(side note: IKR!!!! his tattoos are amazing, lol, especially to be done in tattoo-stigma japan)

Hello, hello! Sorry for wait in replying at all, I had planned these to be done by Monday but weekend stuff happened.

Okay, here we go!

So new ones are 5 - 46. 15 and 31 are the same image as you can tell, but I didn't like how 15 and 15b came out so I redid it differently as 31 (if you like them though awesome). Even though it's numbered separately, you're not being charged for an additional icon.

Also, I did my best with Miku and Cinnamoroll to put them both in, but some I just couldn't do without needing to do more editing and would cost extra. Which, I'm happy to do for you, but if you didn't particularly care I felt there was no point to do it and charge you for something that you didn't specifically want. I believe I used all your images, but if you notice I'm missing one, just let me know and I'll get on that.

also, this preview is just so you can know the icons are done, what you're getting, and can pay me; if you get to look up close at them and find things you don't like or suddenly decide you want extra crops etc, that's not a problem. this isn't a "speak now or else" thing, I just want you to see what you're getting but don't want to send icons before payment is given. this is the best way i can think of not making you pay upfront but me not taking a risk. C:

here you go, let me know and I can change or go ahead with these. Only one thing of note: the artist who does Dottore and Lumine, they have a grainy texture particularly for his overcoat that gets a little weird when I'm shrinking them down. If you can't notice it in the 2nd to last icon, nothing to worry about, but just want to make sure it doesn't look off to you with what I did. As for the rest, I just wanted to check especially with the b&ws.

I don't notice a thing! so it's all looking good to me. And I really like the b&w icons!! I think they look phenom <3
